APPLES: The apple market remains firm with rising prices this week as demand remains strong as we approach February. Movement has been above expectations the last several months leaving growers with less inventory than expected; therefore, pushing prices higher.
AVOCADOS: Mexico’s harvest is now producing more of the large sizes that have been in short supply during previous weeks. California experienced heavy rainfall during the past few weeks which has helped tree health and fruit maturity. The current warmer weather is allowing some California growers to start harvesting early-season fruit.
BROCCOLI: Production volumes are better this week due to warmer weather. Crop showing good quality and color overall.
CAULIFLOWER: Supplies are expected to be lighter than normal for the next few weeks.
LIMES: The lime market is currently on fire! Limes continue to soar in price. From what our farms are reporting, key limes are the preferred limes being used.
